The Chai Club is comprised of individuals committed to the financial support of Chabad Lubavitch of Rochester.

Unlike traditional synagogues, Chabad of Rochester does not ask for annual membership dues or require any building fund payments. Each Chabad is self-supporting and does not receive any funds from Chabad headquarters in New York.

Chabad Rochester is committed to providing wonderful and enriching programs to every Jew regardless of background, affiliation or financial ability. Our programs include High Holiday services, Passover Seders, Shabbat dinners and lunches and Holiday and educational events that we all enjoy.

Thank G‑d, as Chabad has grown, so has our budget! Our continued growth is made possible by the support we receive from friends like you.

To help support the efforts of Chabad of Rochester, we have created the Chai Club and are inviting you to become our partner. By becoming our partner, you are committing to a monthly donation in a multiple of 18.

"Chai," meaning “Life” in Hebrew, has a numerical value of 18. By joining the Chai Club Circle of Giving, you will become an integral part in the solid, Life-supporting foundation of Jewish education, community development & helping people in need. 100% of your contribution will be going directly into the local Jewish community.

Pick a dollar amount in multiples of 18 - CHAI = LIFE ($36, $72, $150, $180, $1,800,000, etc.) and we will set you up on an automatic monthly charge. Recurring contributions can be cancelled, modified or upgraded at any time.
