Journey Into The Soul Of Torah
"Living with The Times" takes on a whole new meaning - living with the Parsha - the Torah portion of the week. This course will offer in-depth study of the Parsha, highlighting its heroes, incidents and ideas, and drawing on ancient, classical and modern Rabbinical commentaries. Special emphasis will be placed on the relevancy of Torah to modern day living enabling us to "Live with The Times".

TORAH WITH COMMENTARY
Delve into the true meaning of the written word. The Chumash can't properly be understood without the wisdom of the Rashi commentary. Analyze Rashi's question and explanation. Why does Rashi offer two explanations at times, and only one at other times? Join us in this study of the deeper yet simple meaning behind the text.

BEGINNERS’ TALMUD
The Talmud is the repository of centuries of Jewish scholarship and wisdom and is a composite of practical law, logical argumentation and moral teachings, extracted from the Torah through precise and analytical methods. This class will offer a look at the Talmudic legal system and discussions will include many examples of Talmudic logic and reasoning.
